Chris is a native of the CSRA. He is formerly the Regional Political Director and Field Lobbyist for Associated Builders and Contractors, a nation-wide trade association focusing on small business construction companies. At age 23 Chris was the youngest registered Federal Lobbyist in Washingotn, DC.
Chris attended Law School at the University of South Carolina and received his Juris Doctorate in 2008. He was the personal law clerk to South Carolina’s 11th District Solicitor, Donnie Meyers while in law school. In 2007 Chris was named the Judge Joseph Anderson “Best Newcomer Advocate” for his service on the Mock Trial team. In 2008 Chris was a finalist for the Claude Sapp award, given annually to the top third year law student.
After law school Chris returned home to the Augusta area and became an Associate at the Mullins Law Firm in Augusta, Georgia. During his time with the Mullins Firm Chris worked on Construction, Civil Rights, Environmental, and local city law. In 2010 Chris returned to Mr. Mixon’s office and opened the Law Offices of Chris Corley. Chris is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Augusta Bar, Augusta Young Lawyers , and American Bar Association
